HOW IT WORKS
Step one:

Choose the course that fits your goals. We offer several courses that can be taken individually to accommodate various goals and budgets. We recommend taking an introductory course to get started and reviewing our articles to see if what we have to offer will meet your requirements.
Step two:

Enroll, enrollment is as simple as a completing an online ordering process. Once you enroll, you will have immediate access to course materials. You can begin accessing the online course content and completing the academic requirements at your own pace.
Step three:

Complete the online curriculum - Students are expected to complete this portion of the program within 4-weeks from the final course registration.
Step four:

Complete the practical application. Upon completion of the online portion, students will attend the scheduled practical application. Protective Applications Group will work with students to arrange lodging accommodations and ground transportation while attending training. The practical application is date noted in the course description, and is typically 4-5 weeks after the initial course registration date.

We offer packages that include lodging, ground transportation to help manage costs for students who will travel to attend the practical application. We have also streamlined our curriculum so that students will not waste time or money on training that is not directly applicable to real-world protective operations.
No Unnecessary Tactical Training

Many protection training courses include hand-to-hand fighting and tactical training that’s not required to be a successful protective agent. They do this because it sounds cool and generates more money for the company with no added value for the student. In regards to firearms qualifications - you will receive training to the required standards and qualify with the organization employing you.
Practical Application and Drivers Training

During the practical application portion of our course you will attend drivers training at Bondurant Racing School. You will learn the art of vehicle dynamics and protective motorcade operations from world-class driving instructors. Driving plays such a pivotal role in keeping your principal safe, because as a protection specialist you will be required drive almost everyday. The practical application is conducted in an environment where protective operations are conducted daily within the Phoenix metro area.
Online Instruction

The initial portion of our courses are 100% online and conducted at your own pace in the convenience of your own home. With access to all training materials on your personal computer, you will also have direct access to instructors that have the ability to provide personalized feedback and instruction.
The Fundamentals

We teach the fundamentals of close protection operations so you can be successful no matter where you work. Understanding and being able to execute the fundamentals is the most important part to being a success in any skill or craft.
